On-Site Hard Drive Destruction of Data Centers
E-Waste Security, a NAID-Certified onsite hard drive destruction company, is introducing a specialized hard drive shredding truck to meet the needs of data centers located in downtown and urban areas.
Data centers located in downtown areas, such as Los Angeles, don’t have adequate parking space for large digital media destruction projects. These data centers are usually housed in older buildings never meant for use as a DC and do not have adequate parking space or truck docks for multiple vendors.
Our new truck will provide them with the advantages of onsite data destruction – witnessing the destruction of their hard drives without taking up valuable space from other tenants and vendors.
The company’s mobile unit is small but powerful. The equipment is completely contained within a 14-foot box truck that is small enough to fit into a single parking stall, yet has the capacity to physically shred thousands of hard drives in a single day. This truck has the best turning radius in the industry allowing it to maneuver in the tightest of areas.
E-Waste Security has provided onsite hard drive destruction services and IT recycling at many of the data centers in California including One Wilshire Data Center, Digital Realty Data Center and Level 3 Communications Data Center in downtown Los Angeles.
